   right after the other on september 22nd on CBS

   September 22, CBS at 8:00
   NCIS L.A. = same day at 9:00

   They both begin on the same night, September 22. I think that NCIS Los Angeles starts right after normal NCIS finishes. Because I think I heard that on tv. You can check TVGuide.com to be sure. I do know for a fact though that both the season seven premiere, and the series premiere of NCIS Los Angeles both happen on September 22. Regular NCIS comes on at 8:00 (at least in North Carolina) on CBS, NCIS Los Angeles is also on CBS.
